For the past 10 years I've participated in the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS dresser build at Bridging in Roseville. This is an action-packed few hours that I look forward to every year!
Consider donating your extra household items to Bridging in the future. They are currently looking for more blankets (any size). Locations in Roseville and Bloomington are available for drop off, or you can hire their labor and truck to pick up for reasonable rates.
Local Blue Star Mothers pack about 150-175 Priority Mail boxes for soldiers from this area currently serving out of the country. We Care shipments occur 2-3 times a year.
If you would like to contribute items, please bring them to the Edina Realty office in Blaine at 10945 Club West Pkwy, Suite 100 or contact me to arrange pickup. Gift cards to Cub Foods, Walmart and Target help to fill in supplies. Checks for postage can also be made out to Blue Star Mothers.
Items that would be helpful for the next packing include:
- Cotton swabs
- Powdered drink packets (like Crystal Light)
- Smaller containers of spices for k-rations
- Granola and snack bars
- Single serve meat sticks and jerky
- Baby powder
- Unscented wipes
- Toiletries and deodorant (smaller containers)
- Small games and adult coloring books
