I had sold new construction for various builders since 1992 then started hunting for land for them to develop. After that I got into listing land for development o,r farming ever since. I recently listed and sold 77 acres of farmland guided for future urban expansion south of Prior Lake for $1,000,000 and a 30-acre parcel in New Market for $400,000 to an investor.
I do buyer representation for developers/builders who want to build single family homes, townhomes or condominiums for sale or rental. My focus is to connect landowners to builders, developers and investors through listing their land then finding the correct buyer.
I’m a member of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (Spring and Fall Parade of Homes Shows) and sit on their land development issues group focusing on development challenges and regulatory matters.
Real estate has always been in my family since my elementary school years. My dad was the 1st CPA in Burnsville and became active in real estate by owning office and apartment buildings that dad either purchased or built. Many of his clients were in all aspects of real estate due to the rapid growth of the south metro so real estate always entered into our lives. I worked for dad on his real estate accounting clients during high school and college because I have a degree in Accounting and Marketing Management from the University of St Thomas. I even maintained the lawns of dad’s buildings and was the janitor in his main office building where dad practiced accounting. I did this from junior high through college for a job, so you can see that real estate has always been part of my life.
