When I was twelve years old, my parents took me to my first Parade of Home. It was a beautiful house with a cute secret room that you flipped a book on a shelf to enter into. I only had one thought... I want to see MORE! Every season since then, I would get the book and set up tours for us to go on. I loved seeing the change in styles, trends, and decor.
Parade of Homes runs every Spring and Fall, and is open to the public.

I have volunteer with Pet Haven of MN for nearly a decade now. Founded in 1952, Pet Haven is proud to be Minnesota’s first foster-based animal rescue organization. Pet Haven improves the lives of pets and the people who love them by rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs and cats; reducing pet overpopulation by supporting spay and neuter efforts, and providing resources to people that help strengthen the human-animal bond.
