About Jessica Lamker, GRI, and Carolyn Madson

Your story. Our Experience.

New beginnings happen every day. Your new beginning is a new chapter in your story. We welcome the opportunity to share real estate knowledge with you for selling your home, or guiding you or a family member through decisions for a new family home.

Our motivation for a career in real estate is to help people. In 2020 we began working as partners from the Edina Realty Prior Lake/Savage office. This partnership grew from a successful working relationship years prior of helping each other succeed. While we do have a few things in common - we both grew up on livestock farms, we both have multiple siblings, and we both graduated the same year - our partnership is successful because we each bring different skills to your table. From real estate market knowledge to transaction process and expertise.

Jessica has a bachelors of science degree in agriculture journalism, over six years in real estate, and 20+ years of experience in marketing and communications for Twin Cities-based agriculture companies. Jessica's marketing skills, backed by the Edina Realty difference, are transferable to employing local market insights and up-to-date marketing resources and tools to sell your home. Jessica is a member of the REALTORS Land Institute (2022), and earned the Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI) designation in 2021. Jessica has lived in Savage for more than 25 years and loves to plant flowers, pull weeds and watch the garden grow at her home on Quentin Avenue.

Carolyn is a life-long resident of Prior Lake and lives on Texas Avenue in Credit River Township. She has been a licensed REALTOR off and on since the 1980s. After earning an associates degree, she also managed restaurants and worked for the Minnesota Gaming Commission and Apple Autos. Her market knowledge and expertise are second to none and she will employ personal interaction strategies to help you buy or sell your home. She knows the local area and uses that knowledge to benefit buyers and sellers. She also loves to spend time with family, cook, and go to grocery stores in her spare time.

In February 2022, we received Edina Realty's
President's Circle Award for th
e second year in a row - putting us in the top 30% of Edina Realty agents. How exciting to have the referrals and support of neighbors, friends, family and brokerage to grow our business each year!

Monthly Indicators - Twin Cities

The U.S. housing market has continued to cool, as rising mortgage rates and record high sales prices have stifled affordability, weakening demand and pricing out a multitude of buyers. Nationally, median household income has failed to keep pace with increasing mortgage payments, with the costs of buying a home about 80% more expensive now than they were just three summers ago, according to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). As more and more prospective buyers find their
home purchase plans delayed, many are turning to the rental market, where competition has intensified due to increased demand.
New Listings in the Twin Cities region decreased 17.0 percent to 6,845. Pending Sales were down 23.3 percent to 4,807. Inventory levels rose 4.5 percent to 8,694 units.
