Who's Joe?

I've been selling real estate in the Twin Cities metro area and beyond since 2006. Prior to life as a Realtor, I worked in the consulting industry for 7 years. I flew over 1,000,000 miles travelling to different client sites across the US before I realized travelling all the time wasn't for me. Having bought and sold 3 houses before turning 24, I realized that maybe real estate was my true calling. In 2006, I made the switch from consulting to real estate and haven't looked back! 

Family?

Not being on an airplane twice a week for work meant that I had more time to start a family, so that's what I did! Sara and I live in Blaine and have been here now since 2004. Living in The Lakes was our dream since we moved here, and now it's where we call home with our 3 amazing kids. Beyond having lakes and parks all around us, we love the walking and biking trails, diversity of neighbors, and the unique community that includes kids from 3 different school districts (Anoka Hennepin, Spring Lake Park, and Centennial) as well as many who attend private schools. It allows the kids to play together, and against each other on local sports teams, creating friendly and competitive rivalries!

I get it, if you're reading this you probably don't know me and are looking for someone you can trust with one of the largest financial transactions you will make in your life. Realtors, like used car salespeople, can have a bad reputation (deservedly or not). Before I got into the business, I didn't really trust Realtors (maybe one of the reasons why I got into the business in the first place, to change that perception). I can tell you with sincerity that I run my business by the "Golden Rule" and treat all of my clients the same way I'd like to be treated. I come to the table with truth, honesty, respect, and care for your individual situation. I strictly follow the Realtor's Code of Ethics and expect that from every Realtor I work with. Since 2006 I've tried to follow the "Golden Rule" approach with everyone, and I will follow it with you too. Your business is important to me and very much appreciated.
