About Kelly Kraus, GRI

Kelly symbolizes integrity, enthusiasm and hard work in every commitment whether personal or professional.  She grew up in the Minneapolis suburbs & currently lives in Blaine with her family.

A competitive spirit by nature, Kelly played basketball, softball and volleyball for years as a child.  She started earning wages from the age of 12 mowing lawns and babysitting.  Pennywise at the age of 15, Kelly put a halt on sports to save for the future.  She picked up additional hours after school at an auto parts warehouse.

After high school graduation, Kelly worked part-time in a financial establishment until graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1994.  In college, Kelly met her best friend and husband, Scott.  Kelly has been married 29 years with two perfect kids.  (“Truly, they are the best gifts any parent could ever ask for.”)  The oldest attended Bethel University then started working in the family construction business.  The youngest recently graduated from Bethel University and is working in Merchandising & Analysis.

Kelly left the corporate world in 2008.  Currently, she is the co-owner of a successful construction company.  Kelly is a licensed residential building contractor and real estate agent/broker.  She has been buying, selling, fixing and flipping investment properties since 2010.  When asked why she enjoys flipping homes, she said she loves to take a community eye-sore, gut it and turn it into the envy of the neighborhood.

Kelly’s passions include family time, working out, warm-weather vacations, reading, gardening & her treasured Vizsla, Archie.
