Martha is a Master’s Circle member of Edina Realty, is a member of Luxury Portfolio International, has been named Super Real Estate Agent 2012-2017 by MplsStPaul and Twin Cities Business Magazines, and has over twenty-five years’ experience in the real estate industry. Martha is often credited with launching real estate staging and is the author of two books, Dress Your House for Success, which was named one of the “Top 10 Great Real Estate Books of the Year” and Finding Home – Buying the House That’s Right for You. She is the producer of video-based programs by the same name as well as Price Your House for Success.
Martha and her home buying and selling concepts have been featured on television, radio and in newspapers across the country, including Good Morning America, CNN, Lifetime TV, and The New York Times. She has hosted a HGTV program, has been a featured columnist for Home Made Simple and is a spokesperson for Procter & Gamble.
Martha developed the Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS) course in 2000 and since then, over 10,000 real estate professionals internationally have earned the certification. CHMS is designed to integrate marketing, pricing and staging to result in faster sales and higher selling prices.
Martha has worked extensively with the real estate industry in education and marketing to develop and package a variety of programs and products for consumers, agents, managers, and brokers, from new agent training to luxury property marketing. She is a frequent speaker at national and regional real estate conventions.
Martha chose to list and sell real estate with Edina Realty because of its local leadership, national and international presence. Her home buying and selling concepts have proven successful in the challenging real estate environment, helping buyers and sellers to meet their goals.
Prior to her real estate focus, Martha served as executive vice president of a Minneapolis-based communications company and as vice president of an entertainment company. She is a former president of the Minnesota Motion Picture and Television Board and has received numerous national and international awards for her film, video and multi-image work, including the International Film & TV Festival of New York, Council on International Non-Theatrical Events (CINE), the American Film Festival, the International Travel Film Festival, and the U.S. Industrial Film Festival.
