With over twenty successful years’ experience in Engineering Sales prior to going into Real Estate, I’m a little different than most Realtors. I am very detail oriented and focused on my duty to my clients. Their interests always come first and for you, whether you are buying, selling, or both, that means getting you the best bottom line.
The change in career was a commitment for me, not a "Let's try Real Estate" kind of thing. I left a very good career to start a new one and I've been successful, even when the market has been less than stellar. In my twenty years I've sold over 350 homes totaling over 75 million dollars. I'm a member of the Residential Real Estate Council. Less than 3% of all the Realtors in the country carry the Council’s designation as a CRS, (Certified Residential Specialist). The award of this designation is based upon both knowledge and production.
Every year, Mpls/St. Paul magazine names a small number Realtors "Super Agent". Selection is based upon experience and customer satisfaction. You can't pay to get on the list and only 3% to 5% of Twin Cities agents are selected each year. I'm a 2017 "Super Agent", and it's my eleventh award.
In 2016, I was named a Heart of the Community award winner by the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors for my work with the PoliceK9InVest Organization. This all volunteer group raises funds to buy ballistic vests for K9 members of Police Depts and Sheriff's Offices all over the state.
All that doesn't really speak to the question of whether or not my clients are satisfied with the experience. See my testimonials page for the answer to that question. (I've put one here that is a bit too long for the testimonials list).
"I can't thank Phil Rustad enough for everything he did. My family can be hard to work with, but Phil weathered it all like a champ and kept us all informed and happy. When Phil tells you he is a full service realtor, he follows thru on that promise, time and again. Thank you so much for taking care of all of us."
When I’m not helping my clients, I have fun with my grandkids and dogs. My wife and I show dogs in Obedience and Agility trial and as well as judging Obedience trials across the country. This keeps us active and young. I’m also the writer of the Dan Neumann series of murder mysteries. Book number four is in the works.
All this adds up to service beyond your expectations. Contact me now and we’ll get together and start you on your journey to a new home.
