About Sheryl Wood Homan

Born, raised and educated in Minnesota, I wandered far afield, studying, living and adventuring around the globe. Several years ago I found my way back to Minnesota and with my family settled in Duluth. I've come to love this area more than I ever thought possible. My life experiences, easy and difficult, enhance my ability to help clients figure out where they want to go and how to get there. Language learning, navigating around developing countries and moving house more times than I care to count contribute to a foundation from which I can listen to clients' needs, then work with them to reach their goals.

Having been licensed since 2004, I continue to look for professional challenges to be sure that I'm up to date on trends, market conditions, borrowing opportunities and other matters that will help me serve clients as professionally as possible. Yearly continuing education keeps me sharp, and about three years ago I achieved licensing through the state of Wisconsin. In this way I can more easily serve clients who have real estate needs on both sides of the state border.

My community involvement has included or currently includes: Rotary Club 25, volunteer educator for the Common Cents program with Community Action Duluth, DSSO board service, Benteyville supporter and event volunteer, public school volunteer, The Depot Foundation board service, and as a NAMI trainer.

The greater North Shore-Duluth-Superior-Bayfield areas have provided countless hours of joy and discovery for my family, our furbaby and me. We love to walk, hike, garden, dine and attend performances and arts events all around the area. We travel far and near on a regular basis, to visit family and friends in their own environs. And we love to have them visit and stay with us when they have the chance. The Lake is a never-ending source of fascination and we now have the great joy of helping our grandchildren learn to love and respect the water. My immigrant-grandparents brought with them a love of land and country, and they taught me to cherish and care for the soil under our feet and the people in our lives. Please be in touch at your convenience, if ever I can help you with real estate needs.
