About Hamline Midway St. Paul, MN

Bounded by Frogtown to the east, University Avenue and the METRO Green Line to the south, and Como Park to the north, Hamline Midway (St. Paul’s District 11) is conveniently located halfway between the downtowns of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Due to its close proximity to Hamline University and William Mitchell College of Law, many students and professors call this community home. The area also boasts the Creative Enterprise Zone, a group of people and organizations in the Raymond-University area who promote the advancement of creative, economic and cultural development. A notable creative who hails from the Hamline Midway community is Charles Schulz, famous cartoonist of Peanuts. Statues of Peanuts characters can be found all over St. Paul in tribute to Schulz.
