About Marshall Terrace, Minneapolis, MN

 

Marshall Terrace is a small residential neighborhood, bordered by the Mississippi River and Saint Anthony Parkway. Comprised of about 25% residential homes and surrounded by dozens of railroad tracks, this area is primarily industrial, but still offers unique living spaces. Marshall Terrace allows easy access to downtown Minneapolis. The neighborhood’s streets are lined with meticulously maintained homes, old trees and sidewalks, giving the area a quaint feel. Nearby Marshall Terrace Park boasts ball fields, picnic sites and a swimming pool. For delicious cuisine, residents choose from establishments, including Tony Jaro's River Garden and Stanley's Northeast Bar Room. Home to the historic St. Hedwig’s Church, Marshall Terrace has numerous bike trails along the river, leading to the downtown area with gorgeous scenic views. Most recently, many community gardens, non-profit organizations and manufacturing companies have taken root in the neighborhood.
